Reclaiming Your Power: How to Stay Centered in a Chaotic World
I Fell into a Rabbit Hole—Here’s How I Found My Way Back

Welp, I Stumbled Recently…
Despite my best intentions (and having preached about this very thing!), I fell into an Instagram rabbit hole recently. I knew I needed to catch up on messages, but I ended up scrolling through reel after reel of frightening information – information that, unfortunately, resonated deeply with my soul.
I left feeling hopeless. Sound familiar?
Returning to Center: The Path Back to Love
The truth is, I know the way back. It's the same path I guide others on. I had to "come back to Center"—back to Love. It's about focusing on what I can control – the positivity right in front of me, the connections with loved ones, the nurturing of my community. My daily rituals have been a lifeline, keeping me grounded and heart-centered. Self-reflection always reminds me of what truly matters.
If you've also found yourself outside of your body, caught in the fear and overwhelm of current realities, please remember that you have the power to center yourself again. You have the power to choose how you respond to your thoughts and experiences. This isn't about ignoring what's happening in the world. It's about consciously choosing where you place your energy. It's about reclaiming your power from the things you cannot control and focusing on what you can.
Transforming Fear into Action
The fear is real, and the anger is justified. But let’s channel our emotions into action. What if we turned them into fuel for positive change? We are stronger together. We have a voice, and we have the power to make a difference. We cannot become paralyzed and allow the fear to consume us. Instead, we can choose how we respond.
This month, I invite you to focus on reclaiming your sense of agency. Identify one small, doable action you can take.
Maybe it's connecting with your community—researching a local organization, having honest conversations with loved ones, or joining forces with others who share your concerns. Maybe it's focusing on what you can control—your self-care practices, your interactions with others, the actions you take within your local sphere.
Perhaps it's simply taking a break from the news to reconnect with yourself through a hot bath, time in nature, or allowing yourself to rest. These small acts of self-care, connection, and conscious action are not luxuries; they are essential. They are how we sustain ourselves, how we nurture hope, and how we build resilience in the face of uncertainty. Focus on that. Nurture that. Let it be your anchor in the storm.
Signs of Spiritual Growth: Pay Attention to Your Frequency
When we are pulled into those heavy moments, please also allow your awareness to observe how the veil is thinning. Please pay attention to your ascension symptoms. I know some of you are having more vivid dreams, you're having different cravings, and you're being affected differently by some of your old devices, such as alcohol. Begin to make the changes that are in alignment with your intuition.
We are processing a lot of emotional growth, which is never easy. Please consider adding a morning daily ritual to begin each day with intention. Take action to clear your energy field and keep your vibes high.
- Request help and guidance from your spiritual guides and ancestors if it resonates with you.
- Reflect on three things you are grateful for – get creative each day.
- Light up your chakras and go into heart coherence.
- Commit to accomplishing one to three things a day.
- Find one thing to inspire you daily.
The Power of Love and Gratitude
And of course, remember the power of Love. Love for us, Love for each other, Love for the planet. Cultivate gratitude for the good in your life, even during the challenges. And be a helper! (Think Mr. Rogers.) When we focus on love, gratitude, and service, we not only lift ourselves up, but we also create a ripple effect of positivity that touches the lives of others (think Lynn McTaggart and The Intention Experiment).
Sometimes I imagine how my small acts of kindness have a powerful ripple effect, and it inspires me to do more. At the end of the day, WE ARE ONE, whether we want to admit it or not. We are reflections, and when we are triggered, we need to self-reflect to shift that heavy energy (think Byron Katie).
Remembering Your Power: Hold Your Frequency High
Your frequency affects those around you. If you are taking the time to fully read this article, you are obviously a Light Volunteer (think Dolores Cannon and The Three Waves of Volunteers). You are only responsible for consciously being the energy that you are. Your natural frequency of Love and compassion helps the collective to shift into higher frequencies.
This is why I continue to preach about NOT getting seduced by the thoughts that pull at your energy.
DO NOT LOWER YOUR FREQUENCY TO MATCH ANYONE.
Be the damn Light and allow people to rise to your vibration if they choose. We got this!
Much Love,
Dena
