How to break the cycle
Healing Old Patterns and Finding Inner Peace

Have you been feeling like you’ve just exhaled after holding your breath for far too long? The energy lately has felt raw, tender, and deeply transformative. It’s calling us to stop running from the lessons and start listening to them.
If you’ve caught yourself thinking, “Why is this happening again?” or “I thought I was done with this,” this message is for you.
At first, I thought it was just me — but I’ve noticed this theme appearing for so many of my friends and clients too:
Old patterns resurfacing...
familiar emotions returning...
memories we thought we’d healed coming back from a different Angel.
It’s easy to feel frustrated when this happens, but when I checked in with my spirit guides, their message was clear: We are not backtracking. We are evolving.
As a collective, we’re being given a powerful opportunity to clear old energy and break repeating cycles — not just for ourselves, but for our entire lineage. This is our season to rise, heal, and “level up.”
This Isn’t About the World — It’s About You
This energy isn’t about what’s happening out there. It’s about you — your emotions, your body, and your relationship with safety.
When I slowed down enough to reflect, I realized something simple but profound: beneath the irritation and confusion, I didn’t feel safe. My first instinct was to look for something external to fix it (oh, to be human). But the truth is, I am the mirror.
When I asked myself, “What am I reflecting that’s attracting this experience?” something shifted.
Our physical and energetic bodies are aligning with higher frequencies right now, and that alignment stirs up what we’ve suppressed or ignored. These rising emotions aren’t here to punish us — they’re here to give us another chance to heal.
If old emotions, relationships, or situations seem to be returning, don’t panic. You have stronger tools, deeper awareness, and a steadier foundation now. This is your chance to respond differently — to choose peace over panic.
We are not repeating the past. We’re being shown how much we’ve grown.

When the Past Feels Present
Emotional pain isn’t always defined by what happened — but by how safe or unsafe we felt while it happened. When that safety wasn’t available, our nervous system couldn’t complete the cycle, so the energy stayed stuck.
When life mirrors a similar situation, our body reacts as if it’s happening again. But the truth is: we’re not being chased anymore.
You are safe now. You can use this moment to close the loop and end the emotional cycle for good.
A Sacred Practice to break the cycle in 3 steps:
1. Feeling Through It
When emotion rises, give yourself permission to feel it — without analysis or judgment.
- Find a quiet space where you feel safe.
- Close your eyes and notice where in your body the emotion sits.
- Place your hand there and say softly, “I love you.”
- Breathe into that space. Exhale slowly. Let the energy move.
Sometimes the deepest healing happens in silence.
2. EFT Tapping for Breaking Emotional Cycles
Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is a simple but powerful tool to help your body release stuck energy and return to calm. Here’s a short tapping sequence you can use anytime.
Name the emotion. Identify what you’re really feeling — fear, grief, shame, betrayal, confusion, or abandonment.
Start tapping on the side of your hand and repeat:
“Even though I feel this [emotion], and it feels so old and heavy, I deeply and completely love and accept myself.”
Repeat three times.
Move through the tapping points:
- Eyebrow: This [emotion] feels so familiar.
- Side of Eye: Maybe I’ve been carrying this for generations.
- Under Eye: My body remembers, but I’m ready to let it go.
- Under Nose: I honor this feeling for protecting me all this time.
- Chin: I don’t need to carry it anymore.
- Collarbone: I’m safe to release this now.
- Under Arm: The cycle ends with me.
- Top of Head: I choose freedom, safety, and peace.
Take a deep breath in through your nose, exhale through your mouth, and notice how your body feels.
If tears come, let them fall. If energy rises, shake it out. If you feel nothing — that’s okay too. Your body is still receiving the message that it’s finally safe.
3. Completing the Release: Energy Alchemy in Motion
Movement seals the healing.
Stand up and shake your arms, legs, and shoulders. Visualize light rippling through every cell. You might even put on your favorite song and have a little dance party.
Let your body show you what freedom feels like.
This is energy alchemy — transforming what once felt heavy into light.
Now Is the Time to Break the Cycle
This month’s invitation is simple but profound:
Clear it. Don’t repeat it.
You are no longer the victim of your story — you are the creator. Your awareness is the medicine.
When you honor what you feel, you close the loop.
When you close the loop, you free your lineage.
You’re not just healing yourself.
You’re healing the line.
You’re setting the future free.
And yes — even if your “aha” moment looks messy, tearful, or slightly dramatic (I might have slightly traumatized my family members during my mine, it may or may not have involved a bit of fetal position time), it’s all part of the process. Healing rarely looks graceful, but it’s always sacred.
