Psilocybin, Love, and Emotional Healing: Returning to the Energy of Love

“All I Feel Is Love” — A Psilocybin Experience Rooted in Healing
She was in full swing with 9mg of psilocybin. She had already done about an hour of yin yoga, and I was about an hour into clearing her energy when she said, “All I feel is Love. I don’t know what I was expecting. I thought maybe I was going to have to do a bunch of shadow work, but really all I feel is Love.”
A little while later, she added. “I’m not afraid to feel any feelings anymore, and that’s a powerful place to be.”
The Power of Feeling Without Fear
I smiled because that truly is a powerful place to be. I knew she landed in Love because she has done the work on herself. Love is the energy she consciously puts into the world. This was the largest dose of psilocybin she had experienced in one sitting. She usually microdoses to support clarity, awareness, and new ways of thinking. I felt the Love with her as I watched her smile and exhale. I felt honored that she asked me to hold space for her during the experience.
How Psilocybin Supports New Perspectives and Emotional Healing
Psilocybin meets us where we are. From a gentle microdose to a ceremonial dose, it often reveals exactly what we need to see. The science is finally beginning to support what many people have felt experientially for years. New studies show psilocybin helps support new neural and synaptic connections in the brain, helping us loosen old patterns and open to new perspectives.
Microdosing for Self-Awareness, Nervous System Support, and Inner Connection
Recently, I’ve quietly begun incorporating conversations around microdosing into some of the work I do, particularly for those looking for a gentle and intentional path toward emotional healing, self-awareness, and nervous system support. Rather than a way to escape ourselves, it's a tool that supports becoming more connected to ourselves.
Love Is the Through Line
What her experience reminded me of, and what life continues to remind me again and again, is that underneath everything we carry, Love is always there waiting. It’s the through line. It’s the destination. Love has been part of my purpose for as long as I can remember.
Whenever I connect with my spirit guides and ask what they want me to focus on, they ritualistically say, “Love. Always Love.”
Returning to Love When Life Feels Heavy
I know, I know, Love does not always come easy. There are absolutely moments where I want to withhold it. Ha. But I also know that withholding Love has never positively served anyone, including myself. What we put out always comes back.
Many of us try to be intentional with our energy. We avoid the news. We limit the noise. But heaviness still finds us sometimes through social media, conversations, environments, or simply the collective energy around us. Before we know it, we’re replaying something we saw, heard, or absorbed that was never ours to carry. This is our reminder that there is so much more to life than that!
Asking Your Spirit Guides for Love Signs
One of the simplest practices we can do is ask our spirit guides or higher self for a recognizable Love sign. For some of us, it may be repeating numbers. For others, it could be a word that keeps appearing throughout the day in conversations, songs, or unexpected places. Ask for it, then pay attention.
Every time you notice your sign, pause for a moment. Inhale Love directly into your heart. Physically feel it. Then exhale Love back out into the world. That’s it. That’s the practice. And it shifts energy.
Emotional Healing Practices: Feeling, Releasing, and Returning to Love
And when heaviness does catch us, because it will, we’re human, please don’t bypass it. Be angry. Be sad. Honor what is there. Tap on it. Journal about it. Have an honest conversation with the uncomfortable emotion. Ask it what it needs. Honor it, but come back to Love. Always come back to Love.
Transition Rituals to Shift Your Energy and Protect Your Nervous System
One of my favorite ways to support that shift is through transition rituals. Small intentional acts that signal to the body and nervous system that we are releasing one energy and entering another. Washing our hands. Spraying our face with something cleansing. Walking consciously through a doorway. Taking a deep breath and visualizing our torus field becoming brighter and stronger around us. The ritual itself matters less than the intention behind it.
Choosing Love Over Fear and Heaviness
We get to be part of the solution. We get to choose not to add more fear, anger, and heaviness to the collective. We get to be the people looking for Love, finding it everywhere, and breathing it back out into a world that deeply needs it.
Ask for your sign this week, then keep your eyes and ears open. It’s already on its way.
And if you notice it, I’d love for you to share it with me on social media. I truly love hearing your experiences.
Stay Blessed,
Dena
