How Are You Contributing to the Energy Around You?
A new take on Gratitude...

We often hear about using gratitude as a healing tool. Gratitude journals. Reflections on what we’re thankful for, etc.
These practices are powerful—and they work.
But what if we expanded gratitude?
What if instead of just focusing on what we receive, we also looked at what we give?
How are you contributing to the energy of the world around you?
Your Energy Matters More Than You Think
Each morning, before diving into your to-do list or gratitude practice, pause and ask yourself:
How do I want to show up today?
What kind of energy do I want to contribute?
Because whether you realize it or not, your words, thoughts, and actions ripple out into the collective.
This isn’t about being perfect.
It’s not about being the most positive or the most productive.
It’s about being conscious of the frequency you're offering to the world, moment by moment.
Everyday Ways to Be a Helper
This is how I think of it—a kindness ripple.
Sometimes it’s as simple (and profound) as smiling at a stranger.
Other times, it's about being mindful of your energetic hygiene so that you're not unintentionally leaking stress or toxicity into the spaces you enter.
And sometimes it's more direct: offering food, prayer, service, or simply love.
If you’re looking for simple ways to be a helper, try a few of these and see which ones resonate with your heart:
1. Smile at people
That’s enough. Smiles are energy. They uplift. They heal.
2. Pray for someone
Speak their name with love in your heart. Send Light their way.
3. Send a simple text
A quick “I love you and I’m thinking of you” can transform someone's day.
4. Practice energetic hygiene
When you clean your own energy field, you stop unintentionally projecting stress or fear onto others.
5. Make an anonymous donation
Whether it’s $5 or $50, giving without recognition keeps the heart open.
6. Listen without fixing
Sometimes your presence is the greatest gift you can offer.
7. Avoid gossip and fear spirals
Don’t give your energy to what drains the collective. Contribute to healing, not division.
8. Light a candle with intention
Hold space for others. Trust that your frequency does real work.
9. Speak life
Compliment. Appreciate. Uplift the people around you.
10. Start with yourself
Heal what hurts inside you. The more healed you are, the more helpful you become to others.
The Legacy of Your Energy
Every single day you show up—whether quietly or boldly—you’re leaving a legacy.
Your kindness, your compassion, your ability to hold space for others, and your courage to keep going even when it's hard...
These are not small things. They are everything.
Ask yourself:
What kind of energy do I want to leave behind today?
Not just in my home or workplace—but in every conversation, every interaction, every thought.
You don’t have to do it perfectly.
You just have to do it consciously.
Humaning Isn't Easy (and That's OK)
If you don't have the energy to “do” anything today? That's OK, too.
Sometimes the bravest act of kindness is choosing not to pass on our pain.
Choosing not to project our anger.
Choosing not to feed the collective fear.
Being human is a wild trip. It's layered. It's rarely logical. And yes, sometimes it sucks.
But here’s what I truly believe, from years of working as an energy healer in Denver:
We only attract what is ready to be cleared.
That doesn’t mean we deserve the pain—it means we’re strong enough to heal it.
There are no mistakes. Only opportunities to remember who we are.
You Are the Light the World Needs
Today, breathe.
Be.
Smile.
And remember:
You are the damn Light.
The world needs more helpers who remember exactly who the hell they are.
