Start with YOU
Coming back to CENTER
Life experience has taught me to be proactive so I don't end up spiraling into negative emotions. During this uncharted phase of social distancing, I have been doing my best to focus on gratitude daily. Because of this, my heart is filled more and more with moments of hope and connection.
Our new normal is social distancing and it impacts all of us differently. Can you relate to one or more of the following?
- Feeling cozy and enjoying the stillness
- Disheveled with deteriorating health because we are taking care of everyone else
- In survival mode with no income and no light at the end of the tunnel; you are the light, by the way
- Creating new creative ways to connect with the world
- Anxiety over the what-ifs
- Learning more acceptance with our families and creating cherished memories
- Worn out because work is demanding and even life-threatening
None of these experiences are wrong. They are just the experience.
Be present and observe what stories have our attention. What experiences do we create as a result? If I find myself creating stories, I remind myself that life is an illusion and determine what will allow me to control the moment. I am the only person that can hear and hush the voices that create scary stories and dim my light.
What do YOU need right now? What stories can you release right now? What act of hope can you perform right now to uplift your vibration?
- Online prayer or meditation group
- Being a helper
- Journal and truly self-reflect
- Something physical for your body's health (e.g., yoga, walk, run)
- Fast (go without food) and get clear on the messages you receive from Source
- Write and mail letters and notes of gratitude
- Daily gratitude - written or thought
LIFE IS SIMPLE. EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR YOU, NOT TO YOU.
EVERYTHING HAPPENS AT EXACTLY THE RIGHT MOMENT, NEITHER TOO SOON, NOR TOO LATE. YOU DON'T HAVE TO LIKE IT... IT'S JUST EASIER IF YOU DO.
~BYRON KATIE
It's not always easy, but when we see it as an experience to learn and grow from, we remain centered. When we panic, we lose all of our energy on something "out there" and make decisions from fear and ego. Nothing good comes from those decisions.
Put your hands over your heart and say, I am LOVE. I am SAFE. We are ONE until you can come back to your safe place. Back to Center.
I am starting with me.
I am LOVE.
I am SAFE.
We are ONE.
