It is SO LOUD!
How to Manage Your Peace in All This Noise
My beautiful client Ashley sat down on the couch, took a breath and said, “It is so loud.” My jaw dropped, eyes widened, and muscles relaxed. That was exactly it. It is so LOUD!
A global pandemic, social and political turmoil, and everything that 2020 has thrown out is guaranteed to make you feel like you have less control of your life and unsurprisingly, many of us have been impacted to varying degrees. With this looming sense of anxiety, anger, sadness, and fear, it is difficult to refrain from reacting instead of acting from a place of love. Consequently, we end up giving our control to fear and anger. It is so loud.
It’s evident that many of us are feeling unsafe and are on guard. I specifically had a few people in my life that I had been avoiding because their energy is angry, frightened and loud.
I even found myself contributing to this noise and needing allies to validate my feelings. We whooped and hollered and felt temporarily normal but that dissipated and reformed as desperation. It lost its power and was no longer necessary. We did not need allies but rather
we yearned for connection – a safe place to just BE.
We grew tired of our own noise and retreated into ourselves. Some of us ran from this quiet for years and now we find solace. Others are in the corner with hands over our ears, waiting for it to feel safe to come out again. And some of us are using this quiet to rediscover OUR sound.
We are beginning to remember that WE also have our own vibrational sound and it does not have to be loud to be powerful.
Now is the time to get still and allow our bodies and minds to remember our sound, our frequency. This is where we are safe and others feel safe in our energy.
- Put your dominant hand on your heart and BE in the moment.
- See your heart being filled with Love, feel it and listen for the music of your heart.
When we remember our heart’s song, it’s easier to tap into that frequency – our safe place. We make the best decisions from our heart and when we consciously play our songs, we help others to remember their songs. We become a symphony again and it feels safe to dance again. Every day we must consciously choose to tap into our heart energy and dance.
We must consciously choose to focus on what we want to hear instead of allowing the noise to have its way with our energy.
The more we do this, the less powerful the noise becomes.
Why not start right now? Is your hand on your heart?
Breathe and connect. There is so much power in this moment.
